I'm incredibly excited to share with you the 3 events I have lined up for the Autumn term - all very different and all absolutely fabulous!

Firstly, I'm unbelievably proud to welcome back Jose Almarcha - a guitarist like no other, faultlessly banging out Sabicas alongside his own compositions with an ease and talent like no other, He is outstanding - if you've seen him perform before you'll know!!!

He is bringing back with him the wonderful percussionist Demi Garcia-Sabat, and this time we have dancer Magdalena Mannion - previously of Dot Dot Dot Flamenco and an absolutely stunning performer! This is the only show with a dancer this year.
Tickets are already on sale - Go go go go go.......

They will be performing in Manchester at Instituto Cervantes on Friday 10th October

Leeds Sevenarts on Saturday 11th October

Flamenco de Leeds – Jose Almarcha Trio
Nottingham Peggy's Skylight on Sunday 12th October
José Almarcha Flamenco Trio
The 2nd event is on Sunday 16th November and it is the glorious Samuel Moore at Seven Arts. Samuel may be a local boy, but his world tours and appearance at Carnegie Hall represent the quality of concert Samuel brings. Don't be put off by a solo guitar concert, as Samuel brings not only an elegance of playing worthy of his critical acclaim, but he also shares stories and detail about the pieces he plays. Dancers can enjoy learning more about each palos without the noise and distraction of a dancer. It's a stunning way to end the weekend, and we love to support local talent!!! Get your tickets here...
Flamenco de Leeds – Samuel Moore
Finally, the last concert of the year is something altogether different! You will all have surely heard of the magical world of Hans Zimmer and his incredible film scores? Well, we are absolutely honoured to welcome Amir John Haddad (El Amir), the Flamenco guitar and Oud player for Hans Zimmer to Leeds on Sunday 30th November!!!! Amir will be playing at the Howard Assembly Rooms and tickets will be going on sale very soon!!! This will be an incredible concert, and an exciting opportunity to try a new and bigger venue without losing the heart and soul of a performance. I'll message with ticket details very soon - and I hope to see you come and support as many of these performers as you can. The Arts are still fighting for ticket sales and support, every single person attending makes the world of difference. Without you there is no Flamenco de Leeds!!!
